The Patriot Day observance is scheduled for noon to 1:00 p.m. on the north-west quadrant of Worthington's Village Green on Tuesday September 11, 2012. 
The main Patriot Day speaker in 2012 is Lt. Gen. Dennis M. McCarthy. McCarthy is assistant secretary of defense for reserve affairs.

Patriot Day in Worthington is in remberance of the events of September 11, 2001 in the United States.
I believe Worthington has had a scheduled event on the Village Green since September 11, 2002. I have attended every Patriot Day except the ten year anniversary, last year in 2011.
