I stopped by the office this evening... and went out the front door and stepped back in time.
You can not see the lantern, it was on the ground in the doorway, it is behind her skirt in this photo. The couple is dressed up for the Civil War era. I believe the Worthington Lantern Tour was a Worthington Historical Society event.

Maureen: How cool. I love it when historical events like these are put on. It adds so much to the occasion.
So... are you going to post a photo of YOU... dressed up in Civil War era attire? It might be easier for me to do that, though, as I still have some things in my closet that I wore way back then. I'm OLD... LOL.
This looks like a great historical event. It is always instructive to take a trip back in time.
Hi Maureen,
Sounds like something I'd find interest too. I'm assuming it was a community event in the area, couldn't tell from the photo.
thanks...
I knew about the event, a tour by lantern light but have not been in the office in almost two weeks. I have a bad cold. I had to run something in and was surprised to hear voices in the office. They are right in front of our office. It sounded like they were in our reception area.
