This is the second First Friday for the City of Worthington. The first First Friday was July 1, 2011.
The NEW and improved Worthington.org site says First Friday:
"Come to Downtown Worthington the first Friday of every month for First Friday! Shops will be open late and visitors will be greeted with specials, arts and live entertainment. The event runs from 6pm -9pm. Don’t miss this great Worthington event!"

I like these older looking towns and villages. They look like they have such character and offer a peaceful environment.
I'll take a photo next Saturday morning... the Worthington Farmers Market is NOT peaceful. Not sure what First Friday's in Worthington look like. I was in downtown Columbus in July.
This photo was taken on a Tuesday morning. There were people on the street but it was not teeming with crowds.
Maureen: First Fridays in our area do attract people to town. The merchants need to stay open late to take advantage of the opportunity. Downtown Worthington looks very inviting. Great photo!
