An October Worthington Wedding - 1948
A wedding at the Worthington Presbyterian Church in 1948 Don O'Brien's photo documents the couple driving off.

In the information Don O'Brien shared about the photo he wrote:
"The Archer house, parts of which were built in the early1800's, demolished by a savings and loan during the 1950's, is in the background."
The Archer house? I wonder where the Archer home was? Was it on what is now Worthington Presbyterian's parking lot? There is no savings and loan near the church or the Worthington Village Green. The Griswold Center is where the Griswold Inn was, isn't it?
When Don O'Brien shared "Just Married" in December 2009 he wrote that the couple is still married.
Don O'Brien shares photos from the 1930s and 1940s in Worthington on his Dok1 Flickr photostream. His 'The Streets of Worthington' and 'My School Worthington Ohio" and others show great historic photos of Worthington, some buildings that are there today, some that are gone like the Archer house. I took a great photo of the Worthington Presbyterian Church a couple of weeks ago. Great for me anyway but something freaky keeps me from being able to share it here.
