Seven months or more of inventory is considered a buyers market.* The graph shows single family homes for sale for the past 15 months. With 7.2 months Worthington schools is a buyers market now... not as muych inventory (homes for sale) as other Central Ohio markets but there is a lot of inventory in comparison to previous months. Buyers have homes to choose from.

- average active price $264,000 (down 9.9% from July 2009)
- average sale price $217,000 (up 4.3% from July 2009)
- median sale price $182,000
July 2010 home sales in Worthington schools were down 43.9% from July 2009. If you look at the MLS (multiple listing service) area that is just the City of Worthington and the Village of Riverlea, there is less than 7 months of inventory. Worthington homes for sale - neighborhoods
The Worthington City School District covers the City of Worthington, the Village of Riverlea as well as neighborhoods in the City of Columbus and unincorporated areas (townships.) The school districts boundaries pre-existed much of the area being developed.
Worthington - Colonial Hills, Kilbourne Village, Old Worthington, Olentangy Hills, Wilson Hill, Worthington Estates, Worthingway and others.
City of Columbus neighborhoods including Brookside Woods, Olentangy Highlands, Westworth Village, Stilson Highlands, Worthingview, Worthington Highlands and many more neighborhoods.
Unincorporated areas in Perry and Sharon Township include Worthington Estates and Worthington Hills and more. Riverlea is a small Village in the Worthington City School District.
