Our Board of County Commissioners just voted to lift a ban on temporary signs so Realtors can put out signs for Open Houses on Sat. and Sun. Do you have a ban on these, Maureen?

Hi Maureen... Your title has me singing this song now! Thanks for the flashback!

And the sign said, long haired freaky people need not apply!

H-m-m-m, sounds like that just make make a catchy title for a song. I wonder if it will catch on...

Sharon # 10 is my open house sign in Worthington two weeks ago.  A lady backing out of the driveway ran it over but did not hit the fire hydrant. The sign was very resilient it bounced right back up as she drove off unaware.  Lots  of these are city of Worthington signs.  On the Village Green there are a series of sign holders for temporary signs.  Number 1, 7, 12 and 14 are city signs on the Green for Hi Neighbor, Sunday night concerts on the Green, a Worthington Historical Society lecture and the Worthington Farmers Market in

Steve and Michael the title is from the song of course but  only sign # 13 tells any rules and they don't seem that big a deal, no pets, no tacky articifical plants...  no keep out signs.  I guess I could have taken pictures of keep out signs at a construction site behind sign number 9 which is about fund raising for the Worthington Arts Center. There must be keep out signs there for the hard hat area.

"Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign"

I wonder if signs have changed that much or if that song was just 60's rebellion, most of these are signs for opportunities,  get to know your neighbor, take a staycation at the Worthington Pools, take a look at this property, buy fresh produce, listen to a lecture.... Others just ID a location.
