My Goodness.  I must be in an old movie.

I should have waited for Sunday... it could have been Silent Sunday at the theater... It was an OK picture in color but I changed it to black and white at the last minute...

What a beautiful old theater facade!  It's still in operation?

it is probably only 10 to 15 years old.... I can't remember when it was built....

It is north of 270 in the Worthington area,  I thought the black and white would make it more convincing.

I think the color makes it look newer, but I wanted it to look old. Thanks for the comment Carol.

Maureen - Wow! That is awesome! Do you know what I miss the most, the drive-in movie!

Maureen...you had me fooled..i thought it was an old time movie....

I might be wrong but I think there is still a drive-in movie on the southside of Columbus, I saw Jurassic park there when it first came out... with my dog... and my (now former) husband.

There is a housing development where the drive-in north of us (and much closer to us) was, it's been gone for years.

In high school we did drive-in movies a lot!!!!!

I wonder if out further in smaller communities in Ohio if there are still drive-ins.

I think we still have a drive-in.  It's not one of the oldies, but one they opened maybe 15 years ago, and out from Birmingham about 35-40 miles.....I will have to see if it is still in operation.  Sure would be fun to go see a movie at a drive-in!  I never went, even when I live on that side of the city.

Hi Maureen,

Have you heard of the River Oaks Theater in Houston? It's the oldest theater in Houston. It's IDENTICAL to this one from the street! It's truly amazing... I need to go take a photo of it!

Goodness.  We have old movie houses identical to that one in our area and they are all in communities that date back to the 30s.

This is just the entrance, the Marcus Theatre is a relatively new  17 screen theater including an Ultra Screen Theater (it was an Imax theater when it was first built that must be a brand )  you can see the part of the building that is in peeking out at the top. The building  is surrounded by parking lot....

It's faux.

Thanks all for the comments.
