eline for HER Realtors - Real Living HER now actually starts out when the company was called 'Harley E. Rouda Co.' in the 1950's. The little snippet here about the "first home photo gallery" is from 1963 according to the Timeline.
The Timeline for HER Realtors on the Real Living HER site (link above) is interactive. The company timeline must have been produced for the 2006 50th anniversary of the Columbus real estate company.
The timeline goes from the first office in the basement of Harley E. Rouda Senior's modest Upper Arlington home to 2006 Real Living HER and includes milestones such as
- The birth of the Harley E. Rouda Co.
- Home Photo Gallery established
- The printed 'Home Photo Gallery'
- The color ' Home Photo Gallery'
- HER Education Institute established (foundation of today's Real Living University)
- Franchising introduced
- The Super House Auction
- Mortgage services introduced
- Herley the Bear was born
- HER hotline introduced
- Title services introduced
- The first company intranet
- The birth of the Real Living brand and move to downtown Columbus
There is a timeline on the wall in the Real Living / Real Living HER office on Nationwide Blvd. in downtown Columbus too. It is not interactive.
The timeline shows when other Rouda family members joined the family owned company, then known as HER Realtors.
The HER Realtors Timeline also shows the years Harley E. Rouda Sr. was the president of the Columbus Board of REALTORS®, the Ohio Association of REALTORS® and the National Association of REALTORS®
