Should old acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind?
Are things changing in your market? Have friends retired from the business? Others just plain quit the real estate or mortgage business? Have any home builders gone out of business?
Are old familiar faces absent from the office? I know each time I go in people greet me as if I have been away for ever... and I have.
Are there brokerages that have disappeared from your local real estate association? Or offices closed? Or name changes, sometimes because the brokerage dropped affiliation with a franchise? Will things go back to "the same" after the recession is over? Would we want them to?
Change is good. Right? Change is inevitable. Happy New Year 2009!
"The snow turned into rain."
I'm recycling. I used this video and the photo in my farewell to 2007 on ActiveRain too, ActiveRain - Same Old Lang Syne... in late 2008. I was blue over Kristal Kraft, Maureen Francis and Teri Lussier among others having "fallen away" from ActiveRain. All named have posted on ActiveRain in 2008. Other's I was missing have not but I have caught up with them on Twitter or elsewhere.
Photo Credit the photo of the tree is from Geek Philosopher used per their terms. The video from YouTube is done by Debbie.
